Release: Financial regulators from Tennessee, Idaho, Texas appointed to national regulatory body

On Monday, the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) announced the reappointment of Greg Gonzales, Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions; Mary Hughes, Acting Director of the Idaho Department of Finance; and Caroline Jones, Commissioner of the Texas Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending, to the FFIEC’s State Liaison Committee (SLC).

The FFIEC is an interagency organization that prescribes uniform principles, standards, and report forms for supervision among federal agencies. State financial regulators act as a voting member of the FFIEC through the SLC.
